Rahim B. Charania is the Founder and Managing Director of Woodvale, a leading alternative investment firm focusing on special purpose real estate development, equity capitalization and debt re-structuring. Under the flag of Woodvale, in 2011 Rahim founded American Fueling Systems, a national leader in the fueling industry. In 2016, Rahim created Three Ring Studios and is now the Chairman of one of the largest Studio production campuses in Georgia’s growing film and TV production industry.
Rahim received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and Executive MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the J. Mack Robinson College of Business and the Center for International business, education and research.
Vice President of Operations
Elizabeth Crockett, Vice President of Operations, oversees day-to-day operations of Woodvale and its affiliates, Covington Media Holdings and American Fueling Systems. Leading the operational arm of Woodvale and its efforts in human resources, accounting, finance, marketing, procurement and vendor and customer management, she remains focused on increasing productivity and improving overall efficiencies company-wide. Ms. Crockett effectively supervises multi-million-dollar accounts and has earned a reputation with our customers as the primary point of contact to execute on tasks. In addition to her operational management, she is the primary liaison between our banking and lending partners, ensuring these stakeholders are well-informed of Woodvale’s ongoing ventures and financial performance.
Ms. Crockett comes to Woodvale with over thirty years of business experience. She has led and developed programs for both Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneur endeavors. She has a professional background with experience in industries such as telecommunications, legal, real estate and manufacturing. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Crockett has learned all sides of business operations enabling her to develop solutions to complex issues while fostering a team environment.
After receiving her BA from Wake Forest University, Ms. Crockett obtained her MBA from Mercer University.
Vice President of Investments
As Vice President of Investments at Woodvale, Bashir Mansour leads the firm’s deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution efforts, while also managing capitalization efforts, securing equity and debt, and fostering investor relationships. At Woodvale, he has executed $300M+ in transactions, deploying $150M+ in investor capital across acquisitions, developments, and investments. His team applies institutional-quality analytics while maintaining an entrepreneurial approach.
Before Woodvale, Bashir worked in hotel renovations and construction across brands like Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and more, through S&A Industries, his family’s business. A Georgia State University Robinson College of Business graduate, he remains active in GSU’s Panther Immersion Program, mentoring students in finance, policy, and tech.
Bashir is passionate about delivering innovative, high-impact CRE investments while generating strong risk-adjusted returns for investors.
Controller
Fred Jones is the Controller for Woodvale. Since Joining Woodvale in 2021, Mr. Jones has been responsible for handling the accounting processes of the company. His role with the company includes leadership roles in accounting, period closings, financial statement preparation, interaction with tax accountants, budget preparation, and projections. In his role Mr. Jones regularly interacts with external accountants, lenders, and investors.
Mr. Jones comes to Woodvale with over 25 years of accounting experience in a variety of Commercial Real Estate Asset classes such as hotels, multi-family, and residential. His past roles have provided him with extensive experience in portfolio and asset management. Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has been a leader in process improvement and developing operational efficiencies.
Mr. Jones received his BBA in Accounting from Howard University and then received his MBA from the University of Texas-Austin.
Operations Manager
Afshan Huda is the backbone of Woodvale’s operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both team members and visitors. As Operations Manager, she is the first warm welcome guests receive, setting the tone with her professionalism and hospitality.
Since joining Woodvale over three years ago, Afshan has expanded her role beyond office management, taking on critical back-office operations, including investor relations, vendor contracts, payments, and accounting. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to efficiency keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Afshan’s dedication extends beyond the workplace. A lifelong advocate for service, she actively gives back to her community through volunteer work. Her passion for both people and process makes her an invaluable asset to Woodvale and beyond.
Investment Associate
Roberts Grinvalds is an Investment Associate at Woodvale, specializing in deal sourcing, in-depth market research, and evaluating deals using various scenarios to determine the most optimal strategy for each asset. Since joining Woodvale, he has analyzed deals worth over $500 million, assisted in raising $60 million in capital, and played a key role in the successful acquisition of four institutional-quality Marriott hotels in the Southeast region.
Roberts earned both his undergraduate degree in Marketing and his Master of Science in Finance from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. While at GSU, he was the captain of the Division 1 men’s tennis team, where he developed strong leadership and teamwork skills.
He was also a member of the Panthers on Wall Street Cohort, gaining exposure to top financial firms and industry professionals. In addition, Roberts was actively involved in the Commercial Real Estate Group and Portfolio Management Group, where he helped oversee and manage $1 million in various financial investments. He also gained experience at SVN brokerage, assisting brokers with deal sourcing, due diligence, and the creation of marketing materials across multifamily, industrial, and office asset classes.
Investment Analyst
Chris Mussell is an Investment Analyst at Woodvale. He specializes in both investments and operations, conducting comprehensive market analysis and underwriting for asset evaluation. His work in market analysis has also led to the creation of multiple investor presentations, which highlight key findings and investment strategies. Chris played an integral role in the identification and acquisition of four institutional-quality Marriott properties as part of a $60 million fund and is a key member of the renovation’s design and procurement processes.
He recently graduated from Auburn University with a degree in finance and a minor in communications. To deepen his engagement in the field, he worked part-time with the university as a tutor for finance and accounting courses, helping students develop a stronger understanding of core financial concepts. He was also an active member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, where he built lasting relationships and further developed his leadership skills.
Accounting Associate
Holly Lumpkin is a seasoned accountant with extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost accounting. Holly holds a BA and BS from the University of Alabama, in Marketing and Economics. She has an extensive background in both corporate and production finance and has held key accounting roles at companies such as The Walt Disney Company, and ABC Studios. Her expertise includes financial reporting, union and non-union payroll, audit support along with management of fees, receivables and payables. Holly’s passion for accounting, leadership experience, and financial acumen to drive efficiency are just a few reasons her experience is valued here at Woodvale.
Beyond her professional career, Holly has dedicated the past 14 years to managing a dynamic household as a mother of five. She is extremely impassionate about educating the public about Dyslexia being that her household, herself, and husband included are all dyslexics themselves. Her passion not only extends to educating the public but also giving back the schools that have allowed her, her husband and children to thrive.
